Anbu Sagotharan (English: Affectionate Brother) is a 2005 Tamil drama film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and starring Arjun, Meena and Madhumitha. The film is a remake of the 2004 Telugu film Puttintiki Ra Chelli, which was also directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as Anna Thammudu.

The film revolves around the love and bond between a brother (Arjun) and his sister (Madhumitha). Arjun is a generous and kind-hearted person who dotes on his sister and sacrifices his happiness for her sake. He agrees to get her married to Ramana (Ramana), who loves her sincerely. However, Ramana's family does not like Madhumitha and tries to create problems for her. They accuse her of having an affair with another man and make Ramana doubt her character. Ramana starts to torture and harass Madhumitha, who becomes pregnant with his child. Arjun comes to know about the truth and decides to prove his sister's innocence and punish the culprits.
